The new Vanderbilt Sitter Service is a free service that will allow students/employees of the Vanderbilt community to connect with clients that are in need of babysitting and care giving services. Students and employees will be able to register for the Sitter Service and become a part of the database. Sitters will be listed by first name only and will provide their preferred contact information. Those needing care can access the site using their VUNet ID and password. They will be able to view the list which will provide information on availability, age preference, and training /certifications such as First Aid and CPR. Those needing care will contact the potential sitter directly to conduct an interview, negotiate pay, and conduct reference checks.
